Paphiopedilum lowii
Found in Malaysia, Sumatra, Java, Sulawesi and Borneo within lowland forests on humus-filled hollows of limestone rocks and boulders in leaf detritus, terrestrial in grasslands with scrub or rarely lithophytic species at altitudes of 200 to 1700 meters as a medium sized, hot to cool growing, multiflowered lithophyte with 4 to 6, linear to narrowly elliptic, fleshy, clear dark green leaves that blooms in the spring and summer on a terminal, erect to arching, 25 to 40″ [62 to 100 cm] long, nodding, green mottled purple, pubescent, successively 1 to 2, 2 to 7 flowered inflorescence with elliptic, yellow marked with purple, pubescent floral bracts that are 1/3 the length of the ovaries.
