🌿 Bulbophyllum comberi

Bulbophyllum comberi is a miniature Bulbophyllum from Peninsular Malaysia, Java, Borneo, and the Lesser Sunda Islands, occurring in lower montane forests at 750–2000 m elevation. It belongs to section Monanthaparva, a group known for tiny, single-flowered species.

Each pseudobulb carries two apical, conduplicate leaves
Inflorescence & Flower Very short, basal, single-flowered inflorescence held under the leaf
it is simillar to Bulbophyllum ciliatum and B. depressum, but smaller in all dimensions
Although it grows at 750–2000 m, meaning warm–cool conditions, this species is surprisingly adaptable.

Provide good air movement
Keep it shaded and moist similar to other small Bulbophyllum from montane forests
Avoid direct sun; dappled light is ideal
High humidity (70–90%) suits it well

Best on mounts with moss for airflow and rapid drying
or can be grown in small pots with fine bark + sphagnum if kept airy
Likes even moisture year-round
Avoid letting the tiny pseudobulbs shrivel
