Parphalaenoesis Labukensis
Paraphalaenopsis labukensis sp. is native to Borneo and requires warm temperatures, good air circulation, and high humidity. Does not like extreme climates. Beautiful terete (pencil-shaped) leaves, blooms emerge from the base of the plant, in clusters that usually carry a strong spicy scent. The blooming season is usually spring or early summer. The flowers normally stay on the plant for 2 to 3 weeks. They are closely related to Phalaenopsis and other vandaceous orchids and cross hybridizing can be done, to some extent.
